This was our third stay at North and once again we were delighted by the homely feel of the hotel. The rooms have a charming French country feel and are well-designed with spacious en-suite shower rooms. The beds are very comfortable and there are sliding barn doors to add a touch of fun. The breakfast facilities are simple with a choice of cereal and toast, perfect for a quick and easy start to the day. The location is great, with easy access to the local area and the rest of the city. We also enjoyed the cozy bar and friendly staff.
Everything was spot on! 😊

The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The kids loved the blackout curtains, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The location was unbeatable, centrally located but surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the clean and well-stocked breakfast area. The staff were friendly and provided helpful information about the area. We especially appreciated the beautiful guest lounge, providing a cozy space for our family to relax. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely choose to stay here again on our future visits to Sydney.
My children wished there was a designated play area for them.

A Room with a View: Room 8 at the hotel offered a fantastic view of the nearby Oval, allowing me to enjoy a front-row seat to all the action happening on the field.
Noisy Nights: Noise from the bar below made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

Our stay at the North Sydney Hotel was a great value for money. The old-style hotel had a nice ambiance, and we received excellent service from the manager, Mark. He was professional, friendly, and very helpful during our stay. The room had a nicely designed layout with a separate common kitchen, which was a convenient feature. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as light pressure in the shower and the absence of a desk in the room, we found the accommodations comfortable and thoughtfully designed. we would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in North Sydney.

I had a great stay at the North Sydney Hotel! The family room provided ample space and the renovated bathroom was modern and clean. I particularly enjoyed the shared lounge area outside the room, perfect for lounging and enjoying a cup of coffee. The staff were exceptional and the location was convenient. The included breakfast options and the restaurant downstairs were also a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional value and quirky, fully renovated accommodations.
If I had to think of a minor negative, it would be the noise from tradesmen discussing work outside my room on a Sunday morning. However, this didn't overshadow my overall positive experience at the hotel.

We had a great stay at a hotel with rooms above a lively pub. The room we stayed in was surprisingly fantastic, with a comfortable bed, a clean ensuite, and beautiful views. The location was convenient, close to a main road and a bus stop for easy transportation. The pub served delicious food, and unlimited make-your-own coffee was a plus. I'll recommend this hotel for its great rooms, convenient location, and tasty food.
Drawbacks: Although the room was great, it didn't have a useful window, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited to continental, although coffee was provided.

We stayed at Nth Sydney Hotel for one night while visiting friends during the Vivid event. The family room was spacious and had chairs to relax in, which was a nice touch. The renovated bathroom was modern and clean, and the room itself had a beautiful style. The location was great for easy access to the city, with a bus stop right opposite the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night. The blackout blinds worked really well to keep the morning sunlight out.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Beautifully decorated room with opening window onto quiet courtyard. Breakfast room and guest lounge also beautifully decorated. Bus stop beside historic North Sydney Oval over the road. Single woman felt welcome and at ease.

The beautifully decorated room with an opening window onto a quiet courtyard was a bonus. The breakfast room and guest lounge were also beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bus stop beside the historic North Sydney Oval made it very easy to get around. As foreign tourists, we felt welcome and at ease, especially as single women travelers. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was a great addition, allowing us to grab a cup whenever we liked. There were also two great coffee shops and a Chinese takeaway nearby.
Felt like relaxing at home, no complaint.
